Southern Berks Regional Emergency Medical Services, Inc. was established through an acquisition merger between Birdsboro Community Ambulance, Governor Mifflin Area Ambulance, and Southern Berks Paramedics in October 1995.

Southern Berks Regional Emergency Medical Services provides emergency and non-emergency ambulance services to the residents of Amity Township, Birdsboro Borough, Brecknock Township, Cumru Township, Kenhorst Borough, Mohnton Borough, Robeson Township, Shillington Borough, and Union Township.

Southern Berks Regional EMS fulfills this by housing an advanced life support ambulance in Birdsboro Borough and Cumru Township twenty-four (24) hours a day seven days a week. We also house an advanced life support ambulance in Amity Township twelve (12) hours per day seven days a week.

Wheelchair van service is provided sixteen (16) hours per day Monday thru Friday and twelve (12) hours per day Saturday and Sunday.

STATIONS

Southern Berks Regional EMS has three (3) stations that are located in our first due response area. Station 2 serves as our main station, which includes operations and the administrative office.
