                    About Southern Berks Regional EMS

Southern Berks Regional Emergency Medical Services, Inc. was established through an acquisition merger between Birdsboro Community Ambulance, Governor Mifflin Area Ambulance, and Southern Berks Paramedics in October 1995.

Southern Berks Regional Emergency Medical Services provides emergency and non-emergency ambulance services to the residents of Amity Township, Birdsboro Borough, Brecknock Township, Cumru Township, Kenhorst Borough, Mohnton Borough, Robeson Township, Shillington Borough, and Union Township.

Southern Berks Regional EMS is staffed primarily by career personnel. Career personnel are certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Health as Emergency Medical Technicians or Paramedics.

Our fleet consists of 5 Advanced Life Support Ambulances, 5 Basic Life Support Ambulances, 1 Advanced Life Support squad SUV, 1 all terrain vehicle(ATV), and 4 wheelchair vans.

Southern Berks Regional EMS has three (3) stations that are located in our first due response area. Station 2 serves as our main station, which includes operations and the administrative office.
